On January 15, Xbox Game Pass will be losing six games, which could be a setback for subscribers who rely on the service for multiplayer titles.
The Xbox Game Pass catalog generally sees reductions every 15 days, around the middle and end of each month. The most recent wave of departures occurred on December 31, when titles like LEGO 2K Drive, McPixel 3, and four others were removed.
In the next 24 hours, another six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass. The titles departing on January 15 include Commonhood, Figment: Journey Into the Mind, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Exoprimal, Those Who Remain, and Escape Academy.

Escape Academy Departs Xbox Game Pass, But It Becomes Free Tomorrow
Although removal times for games on Microsoft’s subscription service may vary, most are pulled from the catalog near the end of their departure day. As of now, Xbox Game Pass users in the U.S. have about 18 hours left to enjoy the games that will soon be gone.

The same applies to Escape Academy, but console players will need to hurry. Starting tomorrow, January 16, the PC version of Escape Academy will be free on the Epic Games Store.
The upcoming Xbox Game Pass game removals are scheduled for January 31. The titles set to leave at the end of the month will probably be announced along with the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup.
This lineup includes four day-one releases: Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. These titles are scheduled to arrive on Microsoft’s subscription service in the last 11 days of the month.
