Alex Yee and Christian Linke co-created Arcane. In a League of Legends dev update, Linke shared, “Arcane is just the first step in our broader storytelling journey, made possible through our partnership with the brilliant animation studio, Fortiche.”

“From the outset of this project, we had a definitive ending in mind, which is why the story of Arcane concludes with its second season. However, Arcane marks only the beginning of a larger narrative journey in the world of Runeterra that we aim to explore.”
The show brings to life characters from League of Legends, such as Vi, voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, and Jinx, played by Ella Summer Purnell, along with other notable figures.

Additional cast members include Katie Leung, Kevin Alejandro, Jason Spisak, Toks Olagundoye, among others, each voicing significant characters in the series.
