Arcane won’t be returning for a third season, but the creators have plans to continue expanding the universe through new shows and films.
As per Screenrant, Arcane Season 3, the animated show inspired by Riot Games’ League of Legends, wrapped up its two-season run on Netflix on Saturday, November 23.
With no third season in the works, the series has officially reached its conclusion.
While Arcane has wrapped up, it’s not the last we’ll see of the League of Legends universe. Riot Games has plans for more, with a live-action series already in the works.

Is Season 2 the End of Arcane, or Is Arcane Season 3 on the Horizon?
As per Variety, they’ve secured a full season of scripts from writer Justin Piasecki, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the League of Legends franchise.

Though this doesn’t confirm the show’s arrival, it signals Riot’s strong commitment to further developing the League of Legends universe.
Seeing the success of video game adaptations like The Last of Us, Riot likely wants to tap into that market, which makes perfect sense.
The second season of Arcane is officially the series finale, but this doesn’t mean it’s the end for League of Legends-based content or its iconic characters.
Although there hasn’t been an official announcement about new projects, it seems inevitable that more will be revealed in the future.
