Secret Level (Prime Video, Status: Renewed): Premiering on December 10th, this animated anthology based on video games became Amazon’s biggest new animated series debut, surpassing even Invincible and The Legend of Vox Machina in viewership.
The series has been confirmed for a second season, slated for release in late 2025 or early 2026.
Although the episode count hasn’t been disclosed yet, it is likely to be around the same as the first season, that consisted of 15 episodes.
Arcane, the animated series debuted strongly in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings, securing the 8th spot in its first week with approximately 476 million minutes of viewing time.
Although the series spent up to 5 weeks in the Netflix Top 10, including four weeks in the Top 5, it was confirmed that the second season would mark the end of the show. However, Netflix is set to expand the League of Legends universe with additional animated projects.
Arcane Season 2 Episode 6 Review
Following Penguin’s finale, The Batman spin-off appeared in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings under the Acquired shows category, landing at Number 9 with approximately 595 million views.
Although the Penguin didn’t achieve streaming figures on the scale of House of the Dragon, it still showed solid performance for HBO. Though it’s intended as a limited series, there’s always the potential for future returns to the story and characters.
